Attractions

We all know Warrington is a fun place to live, and these attractions are what make it. Trying to entertain the kid’s on a rainy day? Is it the summer holiday and they are running riot? Or fancy getting out and exploring with the other half, or as a family? Here are some suggestions.

There are some great activities such as Lazer Quest, LA Bowl and Jelly beans. For the really adventurous kids try paint balling, go carting and skiing. Gulliver’s world offers roller-coasters and rides for younger children, perfect for a family day out.

For seasonal activities there is Apple Jacks. Here they have Spooky World which is on display during Halloween. During summer months they have many activities available such as a maize maze, pedal karts, a jumping pillow, a zip wire and many more.

Slightly outside of Warrington, there are plenty more activities to do. For animals and nature head to Chester zoo, Blue Planet Aquarium, Stockley Farm, Palms Tropical Oasis and Cheshire Farm Ice-cream.
For museums and education go to the Catalyst Science Discovery Centre, Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre, National Waterways museum or Norton Park Museum and Gardens.

For a fun day in the water head to Northgate Arena, Sandy Lane Aqua Park or Nantwich Outdoor Brine Pool.
For a day exploring history visit Tatton Park, Dewa Roman experience, Air Raid Shelters, Ghost Hunter Trail and Beeston Castle.

To opt for an active day out maybe try Pony Parties- Glen Jakes Riding School, Go Ape in Delamere, Supa Golf, Awesome Walls Climbing Centre, Skatecity or Rope Race Climbing and Activity Centre.
For a rainy day, maybe visit Showboats of Chester, Brooksode Miniature Railway, Halton Miniature Railway, Grosvenor Park Miniature Railway to take a ride on the railways and see the surroundings at the same time.
To see the great outdoors visit Crocky Trail or Blackon Adventure Playground.

To spend the day being an artist, visit Blakemere Craft Centre, The Potters Barn or Crackpotts. Whatever the occasion, there is something for everyone!
